CURLY HAIR WASH ROUTINE
Co-Wash Process
Step 1: Section Hair
Separate hair into 5–6 sections before wetting.
Step 2: Saturate Thoroughly
Wet each section completely with lukewarm water.
Step 3: Condition & Detangle
Apply conditioner generously and detangle using a Denman brush:
begin at the ends
work upward gradually
Step 4: Deep Condition
Allow conditioner to sit for 15–30 minutes.
For tighter textures:
leave a small amount of conditioner in after rinsing
For looser curl patterns:
rinse thoroughly to avoid weighing curls down
Step 5: Scrunch & Dry
Use a cotton t-shirt or microfiber towel to gently scrunch curls.

SHIPPING POLICY
Order Processing & Fulfillment

Processing Time:
Standard orders: 3–7 business days
Peak periods (sales, holidays, promotional events): 7–14 business days
Custom orders and special requests: Up to 21 business days
Orders placed after 2:00 PM EST will be processed the following business day
Saturday, Sunday, and major holidays are not considered business days

We recommend placing orders well in advance of important events or appointments to account for processing and delivery times.
Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

Domestic Shipping (United States):
Standard Shipping: 5–7 business days after order processing (USPS/FedEx)
Express Shipping: 2–3 business days after order processing (FedEx)
All shipments require an adult signature upon delivery for security purposes

International Shipping:
Standard International: 6–10 business days after order processing
Express International: 3–5 business days after order processing
Delivery times may vary based on customs processing in destination country

Important Note: Delivery timeframes begin AFTER the order processing period is complete and do not include weekends, holidays, or customs delays.

Shipping Address Requirements

For your protection and ours, we have implemented the following address policies:
We ship ONLY to the verified billing address associated with your payment method
Address changes, corrections, or modifications are NOT permitted after order submission
We do not ship to freight forwarders, mail forwarding services, or unverified addresses
PO Boxes are accepted for USPS shipments only (signature required upon pickup)
Ensure your address is complete and accurate, including apartment/unit numbers, building names, and any special delivery instructions
Incomplete or incorrect addresses may result in delivery delays, returns to sender, or package loss—none of which are grounds for refund or replacement.

Signature Requirement

All Martina Luxury Hair orders require an adult signature (21+) upon delivery to ensure secure receipt of your luxury items. Please ensure someone will be available to sign during delivery hours, or arrange for package hold at your carrier's facility.

After 1–3 delivery attempts, carriers will return packages to our facility. Return-to-sender shipments are subject to a $35 restocking fee, and the customer must place a new order to receive products (subject to current pricing and availability).

International Orders: Customs & Duties
International customers are solely responsible for all customs duties, tariffs, taxes, and import fees imposed by their country
Martina Luxury Hair has no control over these charges and cannot estimate them in advance
We are not responsible for packages delayed, seized, or refused by customs authorities
Refusal to pay customs fees resulting in return-to-sender will incur a $35 restocking fee with no refund issued

Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages

Once a carrier confirms delivery with a signature, Martina Luxury Hair is NOT responsible for:
Lost or stolen packages from delivery location
Packages left with doormen, neighbors, or building managers
Damages occurring after confirmed delivery

We strongly recommend:
Recording a video when opening your package for the first time
Inspecting items immediately upon receipt
Reporting any delivery discrepancies to the carrier within 24 hours
Purchasing shipping insurance for high-value orders (optional at checkout)

If a package shows as delivered but you have not received it, you must file a claim directly with the shipping carrier. Martina Luxury Hair cannot issue replacements or refunds for carrier-confirmed deliveries.

Order Modifications & Cancellations

Due to our streamlined fulfillment process, order modifications and cancellations are NOT permitted once an order is submitted. This includes:
Changes to products, quantities, colors, or lengths
Address corrections or updates
Shipping method changes

Due to the intimate, hygiene-sensitive nature of hair extensions, and in accordance with health and safety regulations, we have implemented the following returns policy to protect all of our valued clients.
NO CASH REFUNDS — ALL SALES ARE FINAL
Due to the hygiene nature and high demand for our luxury products, all sales are FINAL. We do not offer cash refunds under any circumstances, including but not limited to:
Change of mind or buyer's remorse
Color, texture, or length preference
Installation difficulties or styling challenges
Hair appointment scheduling conflicts or cancellations
Delayed delivery or shipping timeframes
Personal circumstances or financial hardship

Store Credit Policy for Eligible Returns

While cash refunds are not available, we do offer store credit for qualifying returns under very specific conditions outlined below.

Eligibility Requirements for Store Credit

Time Window:
Return requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of confirmed delivery date
Requests submitted after 7 days will NOT be accepted under any circumstances

Product Condition (ALL requirements must be met):
Product must be UNOPENED with factory seal completely intact
Original packaging, including protective wrapping, must be undamaged
Product ties, bands, and labels must remain attached as received
No signs of use, including: combing, brushing, washing, cutting, styling, wearing, or any alteration
Product must be in 100% resalable condition
Automatic Exclusions (NEVER Eligible for Return or Store Credit):
Lace products: Full lace wigs, lace closures, lace frontals, and any lace-integrated items
Clearance items, sale items, and promotional products
Custom orders or special requests
International orders (all international sales are final)
Items purchased with store credit or gift cards
Bundle deals and promotional packages
Products with broken seals or opened packaging
Product Categories That Void All Return Eligibility:

Return Request Process
If you believe your order qualifies for store credit, follow these steps:

Include in your email:
Order number
Reason for return request
Clear photos showing unopened product with intact factory seal
Clear photos of all product packaging (front, back, sides)
Wait for approval email before shipping anything back
If approved, you will receive a return authorization number and instructions
Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs
Package must be shipped with tracking and insurance (recommended)
Upon receipt and inspection, a $35 restocking fee will be deducted
Store credit will be issued within 5–7 business days of approval
Store Credit Terms:
Valid for 12 months from issue date
Non-transferable and has no cash value

Rejected Returns:

What Qualifies as a Defect?
Legitimate product defects include:
Excessive shedding (more than 15 strands during shake test of UNOPENED bundle)
Severe matting or tangling in factory-sealed, unopened packaging
Evidence of chemical processing or burning on unopened product
Incorrect item shipped (wrong texture, length, or product type)
Missing items from order
What is NOT Considered a Defect:
The following are normal characteristics of raw human hair and do NOT qualify as defects:
Minimal shedding (up to 15 strands is normal for raw hair)
Color variation from website photos (monitors display colors differently)
Natural color inconsistency within bundles (raw hair varies)
Texture variation or wave pattern differences
Length measurement variance (±0.5 inches is within normal range)
Hair requiring washing and conditioning to achieve optimal appearance
Frizz, dryness, or tangling after installation, washing, or styling
Inability to achieve desired style
Installation challenges or compatibility issues
How to File a Defect Claim

Do NOT open, wash, install, or alter the product before reporting

Clear photos or video of the UNOPENED product showing the defect

If validated, we will provide a return label and instructions
Defect Claim Resolution
If your claim is validated as a legitimate product defect:
You may choose: Replacement product OR store credit for the full purchase amount
